Out-fold (Parallel)

Equal width across the entire eyelid. Creates a more defined, expressive look — popular for those seeking a noticeable but elegant change.

Tapered-Parallel

A graceful blend — narrow at the inner corner, widening towards the outer edge. The most flattering shape for the average Asian eye anatomy.

Initial Healing

Visible swelling and minor bruising. Cool compresses, head elevation, and gentle care. Working from home is ideal during this period.

Day 5–14

Back to Normal

Healing swelling has reduced to about 50–70%. You can return to normal activities and resume work as usual. Makeup or concealer can also be applied if desired.

1 Month

Refinement

The fold continues to soften and settle into its final shape. Subtle changes occur during this period as tissues fully heal.

Will my eyes still look natural after surgery?

Absolutely. Our entire design philosophy is built around refined naturalness — your eyes will appear more open, brighter, more rested, but never "done." The goal is for friends to notice you look refreshed without being able to identify what changed.

Which technique is best for me?

This is decided together at consultation, based on your eyelid anatomy, skin elasticity, fat distribution, age, and aesthetic goals. Each plan is bespoke.

Is the procedure painful?

Local anesthesia is used throughout, so the procedure itself is comfortable — patients are typically conscious and conversational. Mild discomfort, swelling, and tightness during the first 3–5 days post-op are managed with prescribed medication.

How long until I can return to work?

Most professional clients take 3–5 days off. By Day 7, swelling has reduced significantly. Full appearance recovery — when even close colleagues won't notice — is typically 2–3 weeks. Working from home is ideal during this transition.

What if I don't like the result?

Unhappy outcomes are rare in specialist hands — our consultation process helps align expectations beforehand. In the rare event a refinement is needed, we offer revision support as part of our care commitment.

Will the result look the same as I age?
